Electric Guitar
We have Electric Guitars, Acoustic Guitars, Fender Guitars and other musical guitar equipment.
Seemingly anathema today to anything pertaining to heavy music, the electrified archtop acoustic gave birth to rock'n'roll. Even before Fenders "Plank" and Gibson's "canoe paddle" were invented, the acoustic-electric was bringing jazz, blues and country swing quitarists out of the shadows - and before the fledgling solidbodies were fully accepted, it was still on hand to usher in a whole new way of playing.
Nine hundred and ninety nine players out of a thousand might feel that the electric guitar has evolved about as far as necessary - or possible. But there is always that one dissenter who's looking to get something more from the instrument. It's this kind of musician who inspires designers to search for the un-tapped tone, to forge new combinations of voices, to coin a radical feature or a fresh new feel - with one ear always cocked toward the musical horizon.
